The Cost

No one likes to Ponder the Cost.

The Cross is the Hard Truth of what we ALL deserve for all our wrongs, our sins; weaknesses, iniquities, disobedience, greed, gluttony, lies, excuses we make, denial that we've done wrong, and more...

Whether you acknowledge your wrongs - Christ DID - And HE paid the high cost required of sin = Death.

His Grace is that He CHOSE to do this, to save each of us from ourselves, our own sinful tendacies.

Grace says "Come as you are - Dirty with sin - to the foot of the Cross. You can leave clean, a new creation. Daily My mercies are new. Daily lay down those things that entangle and distract from the Life I want to GIVE you."

At the foot of the Cross is where masks must be stripped, you must lay your garments down before Him.

Look into the Perfect Word as a mirror - Don't shy away from the Light as it exposes you.

The Word says "This is TRUTH. Hard Truth - Not to shame you Beloved.

To show My Love for you. That you would SEE in each stripe, I carried that sinful thing you did - In each thorn puncture, I carried that sinful thought you played with/agreed with/indulged in.

I was pierced in My side so that those unholy toxic emotions would no longer hold you captive and forgiveness would freely flow.

Look and see.

Now SEE, I Love you - you are worth more than you know.

See I have already paid the price.

I forgive you."

His Ridiculously Amazing Grace paid the price and allows true Freedom and new Life.

He is asking you, me, we, us to face Truth.

We cannot fully appreciate forgiveness - the gift of Grace - if we avoid the Hard and Painful Truth.

Be set free today, answer the call of Grace, accept the gift of Christ as Savior!
