Perspective shift – Use It or Lose It

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not grow weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) Are you facing something that is out of your control? Done everything you can and not getting far? God wants you to trust Him. He already worked it out. Faith is a muscle. It MUST be used to prevent apathy and meaningless striving.

“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5(NIV)

It is in the waiting where faith is stretched and grown.

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) Allow the wait to Strengthen your faith.

Pray and trust Him.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty Hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7 (NIV)

Be blessed today. Trust God one day at a time… or one moment at a time if necessary.
