Perspective shift – The Great Equalizer

Have you ever heard or said the phrase, "Blood is thicker than water"? Followers of Jesus Christ, my friends, both blood and water flowed from His body that day on the Cross.

Scripture says, “One of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.” John 19:34 (NIV)

Jesus covered ALL! We are to be a Unified Body, a Unified Family of and in Christ, adopted into His family.

“God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.” Ephesians 1:5 (NLT)

We are then to be about our Father's business as the Son of God's​ Living example.

And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” Luke 2:49 (NKJV)

As the sons and daughters of God in Christ Jesus, we are now working for our Father's Heavenly Adoption Agency. We are to bring in His harvest.

Watering, Working, Warning

“Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:5-9 (NKJV) “He told them, The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.” Luke 10:2 (NIV)

Unification and spending Eternity with ALL His children are divine priorities. Make no mistake about it, you are loved.

“But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.” 2 Peter 3:8-10 (ESV)

I urge you to consider the condition of your hearts, thoughts, and intentions. How have you been speaking, thinking, and interacting with others? Are you about your Father's business? You get to choose. Remember, we are all equal at the foot of the Cross.
