Love for Enemies

“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” Luke 6:27-28 (NIV)

Do you wish you could control your situation? Most people try, and all that effort leaves a trail of frustration, broken relationships, regret, and anger. The list of the fallout from wearing the mask of control is endless. We cannot control other people, places, or things. The one thing the Creator did give us is the ability to control our own free will.

“And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me , and does not receive my Words, has that which judges him - the Word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father Who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.” John 12:47-49 NKJV “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. Our free will, called choice- is really the ONLY thing we have control of.
