Live and Learn

Romans 8:28

Learning how to really let go

Is a very hard thing to do

Especially when you love someone

And want what’s best for them too.

I’m learning how to live for God

For it is a lifelong goal

Letting go and letting Him work

Is the only way we will ever be whole

I’ve always struggled with control

Thinking “I know how to fix it”

So it isn’t easy to give it up

Not even for a minute

I’m only now realizing this

The only way to have any control

Is to live your life for Him

Only then can you really learn

To honestly “let go and let God”

Through Him we all can win
