It seems I constantly

Fight Your will

Please Lord help me

I wish to stand still

On Your Word

With a sound mind

And leave myself

Far behind

I want to be

In sync with You

To follow Your voice

Is all I want to do

Not turn to the left

Nor to the right

I want to live by faith

And do what’s right

I’m tired of fighting

So I surrender to You

Lead me and guide me

Show me what to do

Please open these doors

And help me out To follow the Plan

You have already laid out

Take me where

You’d have me go

I’m tired of being here

I’m ready to go.

In Your way, Your will, Your timing, Amen.
