Excerpt: Truth Seekers Conversations With God

Heres another excerpt from my book Truth Seekers Perspective Shifts: Conversations With God. These are pages from my journals that display some raw but truly authentic conversations with my Abba. My hope is that through my transparency, you would find some connection point that can give you hope in your journey with Father God, our Savior Jesus, and our Guide the Holy Spirit.

You'll understand when you get to the end but .....I slowly progressed to more than 5 minutes daily....I meditate on the Word all night as well as throughout my day 🤗

But I started working on consistency by being in the word startng with just 5 minutes of actual reading the Word time.....

Dear God, Not sure how I feel today but I am choosing Your Way, Peace, Love, and Kindness today. It is my intention to work within these fruits of the Spirit today. Thank You Lord.

Proverbs 15:4 The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life.

Help my words bring healing to my children.

My biggest struggle is the words that come out of me at times. Harsh. I have made many strides and You have changed my heart so the words I say are more often lining with Your Word and this amazing new person You are raising inside me.

I love You Lord. Thank You for Who You Are. You never change, You always have my Best in mind, Your love never changes, fails, or stops.

Sometimes not speaking is the best resolution to the conflict. It is best to get rid of ungodly emotions and ungodly thoughts before attempting to resolve an issue, miscommunication, conflict, or any other situation where there is an increased risk of walking ungodly. (Scripture 1 Peter 5:8)

Ask the Holy Spirit for guidance and counsel to bring my thoughts and feelings in line with God, then, at the right time, also guided by the Spirit, resolve peaceably as much as depends upon me. (Zechariah 4:6-8, Ephesians 6:12, John 14:26; 15:26; 16:13, Romans 12:18)

It is beneficial to remember that while I will and do choose to walk with You, other people can and do choose not to. Not everyone will flow with Your Plans. Despite how others around me act, speak, and think, I choose to fight my fleshly reactions and be slow to speak, quick to listen to Your Voice so my responses reflect You, not my flesh.

Thank You God for Who You Are. Thank You Jesus, for Your choice to love us, me, to pay the ultimate price, fight the ultimate battle and rise in victory to give me new life. Thank You for sending the Advocate, the Holy Spirit. Thank You my friend for guiding me, listening to my heart, counseling, and comforting me, teaching me, interceding for me. Being my Helper in all, closer than a brother.

That You live in me – its way bigger a reality than my human mind can understand. But I know You Are there, here. I can feel You and see the manifestations slowly rising to the surface and it is so beautiful, the person I am in You, because of You.

Read Romans 5:6-8

I feel Your Love Lord. Though there is nothing in me outside of You and Your work in me that deserves this life. I am so grateful that You love me and chose me to do Good works in Christ Jesus. I was so HORRIBLE before You saved me. My insides were rotting. No good thing existed in me. You came and set me free. FREE! John 8:36

Hope (in Christ) does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:5

I commit-set in my mind and will, spirit from this day forward to spend at least 5 minutes EVERY day in the Word.

Purify my heart Oh Lord – This is what You are doing, and the flesh is fighting.
