Genesis 1:11-12 King James Version
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Psalm 1:1-3 King James Version
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Galatians 5:22-23 King James Version
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Revelation 22:14-16 King James Version
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
I have always been a seed!
He is the Root holding me, and up from which I grow – able to STAND in All Things, Producing in All seasons, Fruit unto its kind.
Not everyone eating or being nourished is in need of the same fruit. Some fruit ripens while another dies to seed and hibernates in the winter waiting to bud and develop fresh again, its fruit in season.
The winter season produces sweet sap from the trees that in the next season will be the sweet fruit juices.
The fruit in the Winter is Internal. This is faith in the wait…walking by faith not by sight. It is the faith season – the promised whisper – awaiting – hoping for the tangible grasping. The incubation season of Winter is time for the formation of the Vision.
Impressed in my spirit......
"Close your eyes and picture your favorite fruit. And get your senses involved.
Now close your eyes a minute…..work with me here….
Imagine the smell, feel, taste…. Go ahead! You will see….really focus on imagining that you are holding, smelling, and anticipating that first bite…
See! There it is! Did your mouth start to water?
That is the way you are to SEE the Vision placed in you – through faith and hope, engaging all of your senses....."
This was where that impression led me....
There is a peculiar set of skills, passions, mental capacities, and proclivities in each of us that are intended to be used toward fulfillment of the Great Commission – the building of His Kingdom.
The Holy Spirit works through us as we are about Kingdom business, walking in forgiveness, truth, and love (Christ) in a way that brings freedom to captives –healing to the lame – sight to the blind – demons to be cast out – evidence of Tongues with Miracles, Signs, and Wonders.
So during the winter – rest, hibernate, and SEE! In due season that fruit will bloom and develop into sweet nourishment, enough for both the few and multitudes.
Be Ye Transformed by the Renewing of Your Mind
See what is that Perfect and Pleasing will
Taste and SEE that the Lord is Good
Exceedingly and Abundantly More than I can Hope or Imagine!
