Luke 6:20-22

20 Blessed are you who are poor for yours in the Kingdom of God.

21 Blessed are you who hunger (for God’s Word and Will)

for you will be satisfied (Joy, Fruit of the Spirit, Life)

Blessed are you (in the Joy of the Lord!)

when men hate you, when they exclude you and reject your name as evil because of the Son of Man

I will be persecuted – didn’t say if, said when.

I was insulted, rejected, called everything in the book, hated and excluded for doing wrong.

I know that suffering is a part of living.

I KNOW I’d rather suffer for doing right than for doing wrong!
