A Little About Me

Hello, my name is Julie. I am an Overcommer by the blood Christ Jesus and the Words of my testimony. At 45 there are many things I have experienced through my training as a Warrior for Christ. I have been uniquely trained in the enemy's camp….

From an early age I was introduced to the battles between light and dark, good and evil…and the fallibility of humanity. Abuse began as a baby and I watched my mother being assaulted. This was the battlefield of my life as the enemy tried to take my identity from me. The loss of innocence opened the door for a variety of lies that I would only realize later were crafty schemes of the enemy of my soul. As I have grieved my first born and walk in 14 years of delivered grace from both crack cocaine and the sex trafficking industry, my Savior has been the true constant. There was a long time that I was unaware that He even cared. It was late one night in a jail cell 14 years ago when I cried out to God and threw myself at Him. I distinctly remember screaming at Him “I don't know what you want from me! I don’t know why you want a pile of s*** like me, but here I am. I don't want me anymore! ”…..well He has not let me go but has held me, carried me, corrected me, led me, and loved me, but He has not given me back to me. I still make tons of mistakes but He continues to shift my perspectives as I grow in relationship with Him. The first fruits of these are compiled in a book titled Truth Seekers Perspective Shifts. It is only the beginning but is a compilation of some of these shifts. I know I need them more than anyone….but I share hoping and believing that our Abba Father has lovingly blessed my brokenness so all can be fed with leftovers.

I am first a child of my Abba Father, a believer in Christ Jesus, and increasingly learning to be led by Holy Spirit. Since that night 14 years ago Abba has continued the work He began in me. By His Grace, I am now the owner of Much Is Expected Life Coaching. Over the years He has allowed me to reach many goals that the enemy tried to steal. Some of these include an equivalent Associates degree in Theology, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Graduate level Certification in Life Coaching. He has given me the opportunity to have an article published in Christian Coaching Magazine in the July 2019 issue. Now the first published book, one of what I hope to be many. The devotional is called Truth Seekers Perspective Shifts and is currently available on Amazon.

One thing I close with: Each day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and become the person God created when He had you in mind. Dig deeper into God, dig deeper into Who He is so you can discover who you are. Be intentional in your seeking. Live life in Purpose, on Purpose.
